ABOUT US
Meet Derek Walker, the founder of Walker & Wood. Originally from a small town in Northwest Ireland, Derek moved to Nashville in 2013. His passion for woodworking began in childhood, helping his grandfather in his garage and crafting his first birdhouse at age 9. While in high school, Derek honed his skills at a local woodshop, crafting everything from stairs to windows. After a break for college, he returned to woodworking and officially launched Walker & Wood in 2017. Today, Derek operates his workshop in Nashville, creating custom pieces of all kinds, always striving to bring his clients' visions to life.
